Launch of Green Initiatives project for local students – Wednesday 28th April

News of the launch event of a new project to make local students aware of existing local environmental projects. More info is available on Facebook here:

Working together with all the student environmental projects and groups, a team of students and local organisations are putting on an event to get students green!

Come along if you are interested to know what’s already going on around campus and to offer suggestions of what you think could happen in the future!

There will be opportunities to;

– Plant seeds to take home and grow at home,

– Sign up for new projects,

– Get involved in workshops from different organisations

The guys from Green Generation will be holding another ‘SWAP SHOP’, so bring along any unwanted clothes, books, or household items and swap them for shiny new ones!

Stalls from student groups as well as organisations like BTCV, Friends of the Earth, The Wildlife Trust, and more.

Free workshops you can join in on.

The event will be outside the Kimberlin Library, 11 – 4 on Wednesday 28th April, so drop in on your way past and check out what’s going on!
