How to start a local food hub – StroudCo share their approach…

Stroudco is a not-for profit, democratically-owned and run enterprise to trade local food equitably and build community.

It uses a web-based ordering system and a school hall as a drop off point and is staffed by volunteers and a part-time manager, who is paid from a percentage of the turnover.

Could we do something along those lines in Leicester? If anyone’s keen, they’re sharing their database and all the info you’d need to get a Local Food Hub off the ground through their website.
