April 7th: Get involved in making Oadby a low-carbon community

Everyone in Oadby is invited to get involved with a new community-led project to help make Oadby a cleaner, greener low-carbon community.

Meeting details: Thursday 7th April, 7pm – 8.30pm. Oadby Baptist Church, Leicester Road, Oadby, LE2 5BD. Teas and coffee from 6.45pm. Meeting starts at 7pm sharp

Come to the public meeting to hear and discuss ideas for action that local residents can take together to improve quality of life for people in Oadby and reduce the area’s carbon footprint.

Possible ideas include bulk-buying solar electric panels, creating new sites for people to grow local food or installing renewable energy on community buildings. Dedicated support from the Communities Cutting Carbon project is available to help your ideas for action in Oadby become reality.
